Danielle Maffetone-Veri, LPC, MSC, NCC, CTRS
Danielle Maffetone-Veri is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Danielle holds a Master of Science in Counseling from University of Phoenix, Bachelor of Science in Recreation Therapy from Arizona State University, and Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Northeast Louisiana University.
She has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field in a wide variety of treatment settings supporting diverse client populations. She is an approved clinical supervisor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, providing clinical supervision for master’s level associate therapists working toward independent licensure.
She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based approach, and Solution Focused strategies to assist clients during group, individual and family therapy with communication, self-esteem, coping and recovery strategies, processing grief and loss, relapse prevention, relationships, and family dynamics. Danielle provides innovative approaches to therapy through recreation, experiential activities and creative expression. Her approach offers clients unique experiences that promote change through self-awareness and action. She inspires clients to be their authentic selves by speaking their truth in a safe, empowering environment that promotes growth through direct, honest, open, and willing communication.
