Amanda is a masters-level therapist with experience in group and individual counseling services. Originally from the Midwest, Amanda’s academic career began at the University of Notre Dame and continues today as a doctoral student in clinical psychology at Arizona State University. She began her clinical training in community mental health and university counseling centers, where she discovered her desire to specialize in treating eating disorders and addictions. Amanda has published and presented at national and international conferences in the area of eating disorders and co-occurring substance use. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association, Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the Academy for Eating Disorders. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys exploring Arizona’s hiking trails, cheering for her alma mater on football Saturdays, and spending time with her dog, Collins.
